为了打赢疫情防控阻击战——检验人在行动六十:CTC专家为您解读防病毒手套标准

Recently, the novel coronavirus has spread throughout the world, all kinds of protective equipment are in short supply. CTC recommends that you take good protective measures, and also introduces testing standard of protective gloves against dangerous chemicals and micro-organisms, especially for gloves claiming protection from viruses.

最近,新冠病毒已经在全球蔓延,各种防护用品处于紧缺状态,CTC建议大家做好防护措施,同时为大家介绍危险化学品和微生物防护手套的测试标准信息,尤其针对具有病毒防护功能的手套。

ISO 374-5: Protective gloves against dangerous chemicals and micro-organisms—Part 5: Terminology and performance requirements for micro-organism risks

ISO 374-5:针对危险化学品和微生物的防护手套—第5部分:微生物风险的术语和性能要求

Microbiological agents cover virus, bacteria and fungi.

微生物包括病毒,细菌和真菌。

Now two classifications

a. Protection against bacteria and fungi

b. Protection against viruses, bacteria and fungi

现在有两种分类:

a.防止细菌和真菌

b.防止病毒、细菌和真菌

AGloves claiming protection from bacteria and fungi must carry the following pictogram and warnings.

具有细菌和真菌防护功能的手套必须带有下列标志和警告。

                             

"The penetration resistance has been assessed under laboratory conditions and relates only to the tested specimen".

"Not tested against viruses".

“已在实验室条件下测试了渗透性能,该测试结果仅代表测试样品”。

“未进行防病毒测试”。

 

BGloves claiming protection from viruses require additional penetration testing according to ISO16604: 2004 Clothing for protection against contact with blood and body fluids Determination of resistance of protective clothing materials to penetration byblood-borne pathogens – Test method using Phi-X174 bacteriophage.

申明具有防病毒功能的手套需要根据标准ISO 166042004使用Phi-X174噬菌体的测试方法进行额外的渗透性能测试,以防止接触血液和体液,确定防护服材料对血源性病原体的防渗透性能。

1. Test uses a nutrient broth containing avirus is forced against the glove for specified time and pressure pattern

2. Glove is elastomeric — mesh inserted into test chamber to prevent ballooning

3. Visual detection of penetration plus assayprocedure to detect the presence of virus

1.测试使用含有病毒的营养液体培养基在规定时间和压力下接触手套

2.手套为弹性材料–将网片插入试验箱内,以防止膨胀

3.观测渗透性同时加上化验流程来检测病毒是否存在

If the test is successful, then the word “VIRUS” may appear below the pictogram.

如果测试通过,则图标下方会出现“VIRUS(病毒)一词。

                              

The penetration resistance has been assessed under laboratory conditions and relates only to the tested specimen”.

“已在实验室条件下测试了渗透性能,该测试结果仅代表测试样品”。

 

For gloves longer than 400mm, if the cuff is claimed to protect against micro-organisms, an additional test specimen shall be taken from the cuff area and tested according to ISO 16604:2004.

对于长度超过400mm的手套,如果申明手套袖口具有微生物防护功能,则应从袖口区域获取一个额外的试样,并按照ISO 166042004进行测试。
